Committee Elections
What is the purpose of the Executive Committee?
“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38
The purposes of the Executive Committee are to identify unified goals for the fellowship and through administration, to mobilize the necessary actions to achieve these goals. The Executive Committee identifies unified goals for the fellowship with input from the members. Through prayer, input from members, and planning, the Executive Committee will drive initiatives to achieve these goals and delegate responsibility to the rest of the fellowship.
The Executive Committee’s role is similar to that of the apostles described in Acts 6:1-7, namely, the ministry of the Word of God. The Executive Committee is responsible to vision, drive initiatives, and involve its members in the ministry of the Word of God.
