Also, if you are interested, we will have weekly (or biweekly depending on the interest) workshops with the purpose of equipping people with practical skills and theological knowledge about serving, please sign up: here

The workshop is meant to be interactive and tailored towards the people interested, so feel free to suggest topics. We will be covering topics like apologetics, leadership, bible study skills, etc.

Spring DG Workshop

Discipleship Groups (DG) are going to be an integral part of how we run fellowship this summer!

We’ll be holding the DG workshop for those of you who have never been part of a DG or are looking for a refresher.

COMMITTEE CANDIDATES SPEECHES

This Friday (19th) we will have the Committee candidates speeches for the 2010-11 Committee Elections. Each candidate will be sharing the reason why they are running and how God has been working in their lives. If CCF is your spiritual family in Waterloo, we encourage you to be part of these elections by voting for the next year’s leaders and lift this decision up in prayer. Also we encourage you to become members which confirms your responsibility in doing your part as a family for the welfare of this fellowship. Membership is required for voting in the Committee elections. The membership deadline is this Friday.

Membership and renewal forms will be available during CCF. You are also encouraged to read the constitution and bring your own membership form (here). If you are unsure whether you are a member email us back.

Elections will happen next week, and members will be notified via e-mail. Committee candidates statements will be up on the website by the end of this week.

Resume Workshop!

UWCCF upper years will be hosting a resume workshop to help any of you younger years who are applying to jobs for Co-op!

Be sure to bring a couple printed copies of your resume or cover letter if you want them critiqued! (or just come by to watch)

DG Workshop

Mikee & Derek will be hosting the Discipleship Group workshop again for those who haven’t been out or could use a refresher.

When: Tuesday, Jan 12th 2010 – 7:30pm-9:00pm
Where: MC 2054

The workshop is for people interested in leading, joining or learning more about DGs and how to be a part of one. You’re highly recommended to come out if you have never been to our workshop before!
