Hey Everyone!

We just wanted to get this announcement out to remind you guys of a few dates to book off in your calendar now!

August 27th – Frosh ConneXions: FX is an “annual summer meeting run by AFC for incoming undergraduates” in Ontario in hopes of integrating them into the Christian communities on campus! Come on down and scare meet the new frosh coming to UW! Please register in advance. This event will be held on August 27th from 6-9pm at Toronto Chinese Methodist Church.

September 1st – Frosh BBQ: Every year, UWCCF hosts a Frosh BBQ in Toronto to get to know some of the incoming froshies better and to welcome them to the big step ahead of them. Come out for free food, mingling, games and of course, a great time! Location: Derek Ma’s Backyard. 6-9pm. **Rides can be arranged! Please e-mail waterlooccf@gmail.com if you need one and your pickup/dropoff location!**

September 14th – New Student Reception (NSR) – NSR is an on-campus event where we would like to welcome & introduce all froshies to UWCCF. Come out for new friends, games, info, skits & ahem* FREE FOOD! September 14th, 5-8pm, SLC(Student Life Center) Great Hall.

October 3rd-4th – Fall Retreat – This year at Fall Retreat, we hope to take the weekend to really evaluate our individual calling in life, our intimate relationship with God, and of course to have an awesome & memorable time with our favourite Brothers and Sisters! Registration will open in September.
